21 55 S, 150 23 E, 12 Nm South of the Percy Islands getting there. Around 160 Nm to Airlie so looking like arriving Wednesday afternoon / evening. Finally the wind has allowed us to put the full sails up and switch the engine off which has been running pretty much all the way from Sydney. Airlie here we come.

Underway again, not expecting any internet or phone reception for at least 24 hrs from now.
0930 Hrs
23 10 S, 150 57 E, At anchor off Great Keppel Island. Dinah has a webinar to present in an hour or two so we have anchored to ensure a good internet connection for the duration. A slow day yesterday as we motored slowly into headwind in a very sloppy sea. All fine on board.
Sunday, 26 July 2020, 1630 Hrs
23 55 S, 151 56 E, East of 1770 as we progress slowly into headwinds under engine still.
Saturday 25 July 2020, 2000 Hrs
24 20 S, 153 18 E, Finally rounding the Breaksea Spit north of Fraser Island. Its been a very bumpy 24 hours as the seas on top of 2-3 m swell has made progress quite uncomfortable. Looking forward to the prospect of being protected from the swell inside the reef for the rest of the trip

Leaving Chippo’s fuel dock Mooloolaba. Repairs on the starter motor completed, fueled up and underway. A bit of rain about and Southerly winds predicted to send us passed Fraser Island over the next 2 days. Phone and internet will be a bit dodgy until Monday so don’t be concerned if there are no updates until then.
Wednesday, 22 July 2020, 1315 Hrs
26 41 S, 153 08 E, Mooloolaba Yacht Club Marina, now called Pier 33. We will be getting the starter motor checked out as the alternator problems of a week ago seems to have caused an issue with the starter. Anyway we have a mechanic lined up and expect to have it rectified and we will be on our way again on Friday morning. I will update again when underway.
Tuesday, 21 July 2020, 1000 Hrs
28 50 S, 153 41 E, 4 Nm East of Lennox Head which is just 35 Nm to the QLD border. We have our QLD border passes taped to the dodger windows and hopefully there wont be a traffic jam whilst we are cleared in. We have a new gas regulator installed which proved to be the leak of our LPG so that issue is now fixed. The Southerly of around 20 kts is making our Northward progress quite pleasant.
Monday, 20 July 2020, 1000 Hrs
30 30 S, 153 11 E, 12 Nm South of Coffs Harbour and over half way now to Mooloolaba. We are planning a short re-fuelling stop at Coffs and a top up of LPG as there seems to have been a leakage. Have been motor sailing this morning but the Southerly is filling in nicely so its unfortunate that we stop but probably prudent at this time. All going well on board.
Sunday, 19 July 2020, 1100 Hrs
32 24 S, 152 36 E, Just Passing Seal Rocks. Calm seas (underlying swell still 2.5m) and variable wind as we motor North away from Sydney. All going well with a lovely sunny day Whales, Dolphins and Sea Eagles to accompany us.
