Bora Bora Yacht Club again!
Still problems with the posting to the website but bigger problems with crew. More on that later.
All fine though accept very disappointing in the further delay.
Leaving Maupiti, 1030hrs
Unfortunately had some serious issues with my crew and have to return to Bora Bora and remove him from the crew list that I checked out on. Thank you so much to the Maupitian family who helped out at a very difficult time.

There still appears to be a problem posting from the Sat phone. Hopefully can correct this today before my telephone credit runs out as there’s no chance to recharge today

Leaving Bora Bora as soon as all the last messages are sent. Cleared customs this morning. Changed a few fuel filters and topped up our fuel and water.
Planning now to sail to Samoa rather than Fiji as hopefully clearing in and out will be quicker there. As its around 8 days to Samoa and since they do not clear us in over the weekend we will be making and overnight stop at Maupiti 30 Nm West and take the opportunity to have a swim and clean the now barnacle encrusted hulls. Amazing the growth that happens from around Galapagos to here even whilst moving at reasonable speed.
As I’m not certain and its probably highly unlikely that there will be any internet available, all updates and messages will be via the Satellite phone for the next 10 days or so.
PS Thank you Harun for keeping a good eye on Wind Sprite whilst I was away from Tahiti. I Should have left you a bigger job list in retrospect (and had us ready to go), but I really appreciated the great jobs of cleaning and maintenance in my absence.

Iridium System apps are down, thanks for the upgrade!
Bora Bora, Temporary mooring off Bloody Mary’s but not for long. Private Party tonight so no go for free Wi-Fi at the bar. Now moved to the public Jetty in the Viatape as there were no moorings at the Maikai Yacht Club. Bloody internet woes still. I understand none of my posts have one up on leaving Bora Bora, updated iridium apps are not sending so hopefully this post is up. Will try to resolve this when a reliable connection can be established

Leaving Papeete Harbour. Heading for Bora Bora for the last top up on fuel and water. ETA 24 hrs. Under engine as wind is very light. Will update after arrival.
