16 53 N, 25 00 W, Drifting around Porto Grande, Sao Vicente. Waiting for daylight and the marina to open before berthing. Tried to slow the boat overnight for a timely arrival but once we hit the channel between islands the wind funneled us straight into the harbour. Have no phone reception here so looks again like a Wi-Fi search Will be on again in a couple of hours. All went well.

A quick early update to make sure I wish Kezia a happy birthday for today. Can’t believe it’s less than a year since you were staying with us in Sydney, so many miles since then. Whilst on birthdays, sorry I missed Oliver’s a few days ago as well as his dad’s Simon. Also speaking of the Eagle clan thanks Frank and Lorna for your message, yes can feel it gradually warming with every mile south.
On board all is going well, a little bumpy but expecting the seas to abate, all those who felt a bit queasy at first are well settled into routine now and enjoying the dolphins at sunset. Will update Tuesday and keep in touch with you Simon as we approach.

Saturday March 4, 2017, 1230 hrs
