43 07 S, 147 39 E, 9 Nm SE of the “Iron Pot” Almost there ETA at Prince of Wales Bay Marina is approximately 1600 Hrs. Will update time of arrival after the hangover (yet to be installed) has passed. Thank you to the crew, Katrina, Nigel and Clancy well done we managed to dodge a bullet through Bass Strait. Motor sailed the whole way but there was no time to hang around at this time of year.

41 13 S, 148 33 E, Abeam of St Helens Tasmania (10 Nm) Bass Strait is now behind us and back into telephone range. Weather is still looking good for us in our location but closing in around the rest of the strait and South NSW going well but a bit early to start giving any ETA’s

Thursday, 9 July 2015, 1330 Hrs
39 24 S, 149 17 E, Around 60 Nm NE of Flinders Island which is approximately half way across Bass Strait. A cool night last night again but lovely sunny day and making good progress. Light NW wind which will build overnight so looking forward to being across and off Northern Tasmania tomorrow.
It seems there were a few call attempts on the Sat phone this morning, unfortunately the steel hull made reception poor so will have the phone on deck through daylight hours.PS Damn Cane toads!

Wednesday, 8 July 2015, 1700 Hrs
37 19 S, 150 05 E, Currently 5 Nm SE of Green Cape heading for Gabo then the Strait. Forecast is for Northerlies the next few days so after 2 weeks finally the weather in this area is looking favourable for our direction. May or may not post a position tomorrow, if so it will be via Sat phone so you will need to look for the text file as linked above. All well on board looking forward to “State of Origin” tonight, hopefully will be able to stream it live somehow. Go the Blues!

36 25 S, 150 04 E, Bermagui Marina. A pleasant motor down from the anchorage with the wind gradually building through the day. Will be watching the strong wind warnings tomorrow with the view of leaving Tuesday afternoon or more likely early Wednesday morning.

35 51 S, 150 10.9, Anchored off Broulee Island. Lovely sunset and happy hour. Ready to cook a steak and have a full night sleep. Expecting to continue on to either Bermagui or perhaps Eden for the next short stopover tomorrow.

35 29 S, 150 41 E, Currently 12 Nm SE of Ulladulla. A cold night but comfortable under engine since leaving Sydney. All is well will be updating this evening when we arrive at anchorage tonight. Will probable stop near Batemans bay for one night before continuing on to further down the coast on Monday

Leaving Sydney Harbour on a lovely winters day. Quite a lot of yachts out for the Saturday races. Light winds so the engine will warm the below decks a bit for the cooler temperatures.
